Materials Disclaimer:

We utilize a wide variety of materials and specialty equipment in order to deliver you the best possible experience and result.

Some of the more common materials we utilize include aerosolized lacquers, urethane and epoxy based paints & clear coats, water based and solvent based filler materials; such as wood filler, drywall compound, glazing putty and two part epoxies; and chemical solvents such as acetone, lacquer thinner, denatured alcohol & mineral spirits.

How long does it need to dry?

Typically our repairs are dry to the touch when we are complete, ensuring they are ready for immediate use with a full cure of the repaired area occurring within a few days. During this time we recommend delicate use and no cleaning. Noteable exceptions to this include our epoxy refinishing services which require 72 hours for a full cure as it is a 100% chemical based cure for maximum durability.

Is there any smell or chemical odor?

Depending on the services being provided and the materials typically involved there may be a chemical odor during the repair process. This is typically momentary but can vary by scope of work being performed. We always strive to maintain minimal disruption to your home and where needed ventilation can be added or materials altered to minimize disruption.

On average 98% of the odor occurs during the final two stages of the repair process and initial drying. Once dry, there may be some minor odor seepage (2%) during the cure process which typically completes within 72 hours.

Is the process dirty?

Not at all. We try our best to make it seem like we were never there; this includes everything from our footwear to covering all nearby surfaces during our repair and restoration process. Our technicians each carry their own portable vacuum, waterproof tarps & padding, plastic sheeting and cleaning equipment ensuring the workspace is as clean or cleaner than when we arrived.

We’re here to make a problem go away, not create a new one when we leave.

Sensitive Individuals

We recognize some individuals may be more acutely concerned with exposure. While we maintain that exposure levels for homeowners are safe (although potentially smelly) we understand that for abnormal health concerns or small children arrangements may be needed to maintain a safe workspace.

If you have these needs please let us know so that we may ensure a smooth repair service process that conforms to your needs including but not limited to modifying repair materials, additional ventilation with filtration, establishing a dedicated spray area, spraying outside, or vacating the premises until services are completed for same day services.
